Spanish Vocabulary for Clients
After my small disaster in Daniela Katwoman's theme, I thought I would start a thread here for my self and other English speakers to collect Spanish words and phrases, beyond the ones they teach you in school, that could be used (or avoided!) as we pursue our "hobby". I encourage native Spanish, or Catalan, speakers to help us out, particularly if we get something wrong.
A few obvious ones, perhaps. 1) "Puta" still has very bad connotations. The standard on SMB is to use the euphemism "lumi" (for "luminous"). "Tu madre es puta" or "hijo de puta madre" are still used as strong insults. Contrast with the increasing acceptance of "whore" in American English. Kind of funny to me, since prostitution is widely legal in so much of the Spanish-speaking world. It is not really clear to me if "prostituta" is negative or neutral (like a legal term), 2) My slip-up was with the term "zorra". While the American English usage of "fox" or "vixen" to describe a woman is mostly positive, the Spanish equivalent "zorra" has strong negative connotations, closer to "slut" or "bitch". In fact, the person who corrected me used "bitch" to translate "zorra", but doing some Internet research, it does not seem to have the same sense of being mean. I think "slut" is the better translation. As far as a translation of "bitch", there is the obvious word "perra". Other suggestions? -- LL "Love hurts"

Sometimes, the English word "bitch" is translated as "perra" (literally "female dog"), but is only used for describing a woman that looks like a nymphoman. Of course, generally, the word "puta" has a bad connotation, and is frequently used as an insult: i.e "hijo de puta" (son of a bitch). At my advice, the best translation is "perra", and sometimes "puta" (but don't forget that is slang).
The terms "prostituta", as in English "prostitute", is neutral. Is the most used word in mass media. Another synonimes ara "lumi" (but not everyone knows it), "zorra" (bad connotation), the English word "escort" (sometimes synonime of "expensive prostitute" or "high-class prostitute"). As an euphemism, you can use "señorita de compañía", "señorita de moral distraída" or "hetaria" (cultivated word). If you use the English word "escort" you can be understood everywhere. But as I said before, sometimes it refers to a kind of prostitute. In Catalan, as in Spanish, the word "puta" has a bad meaning. We have a synonime very common, "meuca", more correct than the other one, but colloquial. In formal speech, we can use "prostituta" without problem, and also "senyoreta de companyia" (=Spanish "señorita de compañia"). Catalan word "guineu" (English "fox" , Spanish "zorro" (male) or "zorra" female)) doesn't mean "prostitute". We also have a slang words for sexual organs or sexual intercourse. For female sexual organs, in Spanish, depending of countries, you can listen "coño" (perhaps the more usual word), "concha", "chocho"...(the list is very long). In Forum, generally we use a sort of invented synonimes, as "cosita" , "tesoro" , or simply "sexo". Even you can find, in case of Brasilian women, the equivalent word in Portuguese: "buceta". In Catalan, we have "cony", "patata", "figa" (all theese words are slang, and does'nt have to be used in formal speech). For male sexual organs, in Spanish, we have "polla", "picha" "verga", "pichula"...(alls these words means "penis"). In Catalan, "cigala" is very usual. Of course, depending of countries (in Spanish), we also have another words. For "testicles", in Spanish we have "cojones", "bolas" (as in English "balls") or "huevos". In Catalan, "collons" (not so slang than the Spanish word "cojones"), "ous". Última edición por Baja_243; 19/04/2011 a las 16:56. |

A few more
Thank you for your extensive reply, Pixapins. I learned "polla"(1), "coño"(2), and "culo" my third day in Barcelona, from a beautiful young Cuban(3) lady in Arizala74. This is, by they way, the best way to learn a new language - in bed with a beautiful woman. Here are few more I have picked up, for the aid my fellow countrymen in particular: 1) Throughout Europe, fellatio/blowjobs is referred to as "french" - "frances" in spanish. "Frances con" or "frances sin" refers to a blowjob with or without a condom. 2) Consequently the American phrase "French Kiss" does not parse. Most folks probably know that the Spanish for "kisses/to kiss" is "besos/besar", like the old song Besame Mucho. I believe the equivalent of "french kiss" or the British "snog" is "morreo". 3) Also, most Europeans refer to anal sex as "greek" - "griego" in Spanish. "No hago griego" = "I don't do greek" 4) A rimjob is a "black kiss" - "beso negro". 5) A titfuck is a "cubana". This varies from place to place. In Geneva it is referred to as a "russian" ("russe" in French). Confusingly the British refer to this as a "French fuck". 6) Condoms/rubbers are "preservitivos/gomas". I have also seen/heard "condón". 7) Let me see if I get this right: A man's ejaculation is referred to as "leche", meaning milk. Not the best mental image, frankly(4). "To ejaculate" is literally "ejecutar". In Spanish, you do not come, you run: "Correr". I hope this is useful. - LL ------------------------------------------------------------- (1) Me:"You call it a chicken?!?!" (2) Me:"You call it a rabbit?!?!" (3) Someone has said that she is actually Dominican, not Cuban. Either way, she is gorgeous. I do not believe that she is still at Arizala74, though. (4) I have a vivid memory of an older Chinese woman in Granvia470 holding up a filled condom and squawking "Tu leche! Tu leche!". Ugh! "Love hurts"

We going to continue with this glossary:
A) English sentence cum in mouth is translated in Spanish as "francés natural hasta el final" (fellatio or blowjob without condom and ejaculation into mouth). B) As you already said, anal-oral-sex is "Beso negro" (literally, "Black kiss") C) "Griego", of course, is "Anal-sex". It is very habitual, also, the sentence "sexo anal" (specially in our written experiences). C) "Beso blanco" means ejaculation into woman mouth and kissing each-other with tongue. That's why, the fluid is transferred to your mouth. D) The word "cubana", meaning, "sexual excitation of male sexual organ massaging it with woman brests", (titty fuck" in slang) is only used, as I know, in Spain. In some parts of Latin-America, is referred as "Russian" or something like this. E) "Correrse" (pro-nominal usage, be carefull) means "have an orgasm" (for man or woman, it's the same). "Leche" (literally, "milk"), of course, means the result of man's ejaculation (because its colour is white as milk). "To ejaculate" is "eyacular" ("ejecutar" means "executate"). Of course, "correr" (no pro-nominal usage) means "run". F) "Condón" and "preservativo" are perfect synonimes of English word "condom". Perhaps "preservativo" is more formal than "condón", but you may perfectlly use both anywhere. "Goma" is also used, but is colloquial word. Good luck ! No, lo correcto es decir: "voy a correrme" (puesto que soy yo el que eyacula, y por tanto el pronombre personal reflexivo de primera persona es "me"). Si hablamos de una tercera persona, diríamos "va a correrse" (pronombre personal reflexivo de tercera persona). |

Compliments
Gentlemen, please - how about some compliments? We use "lumis" on this forum. What are some other compliments for our ladies that a non-Spanish speaker might want to know? @Viciosa11: Merci pour votre correction. Vous connaissez la blague: Je suis Americain - je ne parle aucun des langues! -- LL "Love hurts"
